Politicians should look for common points of contact more transparently, - believes Oleksandr Lavrynovych, First Vice-Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. He made the above-mentioned statement in the interview to "Interfax-Ukraina" news agency.
"The present-day political situation obliges both the political force headed by the Prime-Minister, and the political force that has the largest Faction at the Parliament and is supported by the majority of Ukrainian citizens to hold consultations and find common decisions for the Ukrainian citizens. It is apparent, that it is impossible to have 300 voices to amend the Fundamental Law of Ukraine without the Party of Regions and the BYuT", - stated the politician.
O. Lavrynovych commented upon the negotiations concerning achievement of agreement as to the introduction of amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine. Thus, he stated: "Our work has been launched exactly a year and a half ago, the Bill by Yulia Volodymyrivna being submitted".
"We united our efforts to secure efficient executive authorities in Ukraine, to prevent existence of two centers and two leaders of executive authorities, to ensure that every institution has its authorities and implements them thoroughly. Moreover, it was necessary to secure the possibility of mutual monitoring instead of duplication of authorities", - stated O.Lavrynovych. He also implied that one of the participants of the negotiations initiated prolongation of the period of authorities of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine "to preserve the office of the Prime Minister with the extended authorities to 2015".
"One should have a good will to look for common points of contact to settle the issues, but one must do it more transparently", - summarized the First Vice-Chairman and added: "One should have a clear and honest standpoint, so that to work together".
